Last night Gloria and I got together to go over our "Shakespeare's Sonnet's" presentation that we had originally planned to do last November. Due to unexpected house guests for Gloria, we had to reschedule it for our April "Poetry Plus" which will be the evening of the 14th.
Going back over the sonnets and other information we will be using was alot of fun. Looking at the sonnets brings a new thought each time! We plan to read several each, do two sonnets together where one of us reads the sonnet line and the other reads a line of explanation, and finally do a little "fill in the blank" exercise using some of the expressions of Shakespeare's that are still used today. I think it will be a very enjoyable evening! And a thank you goes to Marshall for the inspiration to put this sonnets program together!
