Drab and dreary

Today it is a week since we left the land of aloha, and since we have been home the temperatures have been relatively mild.  We even had sun a day or two. But today is another story. It is not only sunless, but it is a deep gray, soggy and foggy kind of day.

So it is a good thing that I have been working with editing and now ordering prints of the photos we took while on Oahu.  I always think "this trip I won't need to take as many pictures" but it never works that way.  The ocean looks just a little different each time, the waves higher or more picturesque.  The flowers are more colorful or abundant than last visit.   A new bird shows up wanting it's picture taken.  The same building takes on a whole different look when the sun is hitting it at a time of day we haven't seen it in before.   And on it goes...

Thankfully, I took enough pictures on this vacation that I can relive it many times over!!!
