Yesterday we celebrated Taylor's 29th birthday with a family supper at our house. Steve made Flemish Beef and Beer Stew, an old favorite. I made party potatoes, fruit salad, Byerly's cole slaw, fresh green beans and dinner rolls. Steve commented that it was hard to believe that Taylor was 29 - that is how old we were when he was born!!
Earlier in the day Gloria and I finally celebrated my birthday of almost 2 months ago!! She treated me to a delicious breakfast at Bub's Cafe in Carmel on the Monon Trail. Afterwards we looked around in the nearby antiques mall.
Now, looking forward to the next celebration, the 60th wedding anniversary of Steve's folks. He will be joining them next weekend for a few days to share this happy occasion!
