All good wishes go out to Delaney Marie on her 14th birthday! It is so hard to believe she has grown up and become a lovely young lady, on her way to the wonderful blessings this age brings.

A week ago Steve and I returned from a short visit to Baltimore to see Matthew and Davie in their new digs! Davie started his job with High's Dairy out there, and so far they like the area - we thought it reminded us a bit of Atlanta as it is very wooded. We also drove to Annapolis and saw the Naval Academy.
Then last Thursday, Steve had surgery for hernia repair. He has been resting ever since, and as of today he is feeling pretty good and quit taking his pain meds.
We look forward to celebrating Thanksgiving in several days - we have so much to be thankful for!
Today would be my Grandma Evenson's 117th birthday had she lived to see it! Born Alice Amanda Sunde at home in New Richland, Minnesota on this day in 1895, she lived to see her 88th year on this earth. She was one of God's truly lovely creations in every single way! I miss her, but every thought of her brings a smile to my face ~ and that is a blessing to me!
